Our new adobe home, in the peaceful pueblo of Tlalixtac is just 15 minutes from the center of Oaxaca, easily accessible by bus, taxi, or colectivo. Tlalixtac is a quiet and safe town where you will be greeted with friendly smiles and a cheerful "Buenos dias". Here you can experience Old Mexico, a place where the people use oxen to plow, make tortillas over wooden fires and the women carry baskets of produce on their heads.
